Eau de Caron: Created in 1980 by Michel Morsetti and Gerard Lefort. Not to be confused with the 1994 Eaux de Cologne by Caron.
So what does it smell like? It is classified as an oriental fragrance for women. It begins with a fresh, cool top, followed by a light floral heart, resting on a mossy base. A cascade of fruits: bergamot, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon. Singular in calling forth woods and glades, with shades of bark, moss and fern. Provencal in conjuring up the garrigue with scents of thyme, basil, lavender and orange blossom. Besprinkled with a hint of rose, lily of the valley and cyclamen.
